The project is about tailor made furniture design in a recently renovated house.
The leitmotiv focuses on vertical stripes, obtained by the use of oak sticks, rhythmically decorating the walls, joining different pieces of furniture with different functions, and giving significance to the existing soffits.
In the Tv cabinet, vertical stripes permit to hide perfectly the shutters joints, while on the wall the continuos vertical slits paneling hides many imperfections of existing walls.
On the same wall of the tv cabinet a set of slits, aligned to the existing soffit, hides the heater and a perfect flip opening home office corner.
Full height sticks are used to panel the pillar and extended to create a small exhibition area, redefining the passageway to the living room and the kitchen.
